Special education budgets/grants
Here at Lincoln Charter School, we provide special education services to eligible students in a continuum of educational settings. These programs are designed to meet the student’s individual needs based on their identified disability. This includes intellectually gifted students whose abilities require special education services to meet their needs. The IEP Team determines the level of services for each student. The Team strives to provide the least restrictive environment (LRE) for all students. Written permission is required for the evaluation and identification process. Students who qualify for special education services will have an Individual Education Plan. Parents and staff are involved in identifying students who require special education services. Parents will be offered a copy of the Procedural Safeguards Notice at each meeting. You can find the safeguards featured below.
