Here are a few highlights as we prepare for the new school year.
School Focus
The primary goal of Lincoln Charter School is to educate and support students who have developed a strong sense of community within our school and understand their influence on shaping their communities. In all of their classes, students will be empowered to share their thinking, grow emotionally and academically, exhibit our core values and foster a love and respect for community.
School Year Start
All students' first day of school will be Wednesday, August 13th. School starts at 8:30 AM and ends at 3:30 PM. Fridays are early dismissal days; students will be dismissed at 12:00 PM. A list of school holiday closures and important dates will be available on our website and in our office.

Back-to-School Night
On Monday, August 11th, there will be the first parent meeting of the year. You will meet the teachers and hear about the year's curriculum. This will also be an opportunity to update any contact information and get volunteering information.
Communications
Information for parents will be communicated throughout the school year via email, text and social media. Please send your email address to our Community Outreach Coordinator, Imani Nesbit at inesbit@lincolncharterpa.com with your name and your child's name so we can add you to our email newsletter.
Academic communications will primarily be through Class Dojo.
School Events
Lincoln Charter School has events and field trips that require parent volunteers. These include school performance, family nights and community events. All parents are invited to help or attend at least one event. Please stop by the main office to receive volunteer/chaperone information.

PTA Meetings
PTA meetings will be held every month in the evenings. We will announce the meeting dates soon. Once published, the schedule will be posted on the school website, emailed, and sent home. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend these monthly meetings.
