4TH GRADE

Fourth Grade at Lincoln Charter School works hard to prepare our students for 5th grade. We utilize the My Math program by McGraw Hill to meet state standard requirements in Numbers and Operations, Algebraic Concepts, Measurement, Data and Probability, and Geometry. We use Wonders by McGraw Hill to meet state standards in English/Language Arts concepts in analyzing character, main idea and supporting details, summarizing, inferencing, theme, and story elements to name a few. Students also participate in a wide variety of science lessons to teach them about the Solar System, weather, body systems, and measurement. Students have been working on the regions of the United States and are also working on completing a State project to finish out the year.
