Posted on Wednesday June 12, 2019

Lincoln Charter School will be open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday thru Thursday during the summer. Don't forget to sign up and join us for summer school starting Monday, June 17, 2019.

The Lincoln Charter School Technology Department is devoted to creating an experience for students and staff of remembrance. We will do our best to create a technological environment that impacts our day to day instruction. As a department we have one goal, to change the perspective or moral for technology in the classroom. During the years the department has built and written an extensive curriculum within the program which touches upon the (NGSS) Next Generation Science Standards as well as basics of the technological processes. The department is tasked with maintaining and implementing approx. 750 student devices, 100 staff devices, and 60 classroom/office devices. The program and department pride ourselves with becoming a 1-1 program. (One student to One Device) Currently the department is working hard to create standards which promotes and encourages innovation through exploration. The department has named these standards a ITE Standards. These standards will be displayed in our everyday implantation of technology in the instructional day as well as our new S.T.E.A.M.(Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math)program. The department is very excited to role out our new S.T.E.A.M. program this year for all 3rd – 5th grade students. Within this program students will have a hands on experience of technology, everything from coding and robotics to the Lego we do program and simple machines.
